Moneta is operated by Umbreo Inc. ("Moneta", "we"). We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the data needed to operate the service:
- Account: name, email address, password (encrypted), company name and preferences.
- Billing data: your clients' contact details, invoices, quotes and amounts you enter.
- Payment: subscription transactions are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, pages viewed and logs, for security and improvement purposes.
2. How we use your data
- Provide, maintain and improve the Moneta service.
- Generate your invoices and send the emails and reminders you trigger.
- Process subscriptions and billing.
- Ensure security, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
We never sell your personal information.
3. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with trusted providers who help us run the service, and only to the extent necessary:
- Stripe — subscription payment processing.
- Email delivery provider — delivery of your invoices and reminders.
- Hosting provider — secure data storage in Canada.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
4. Hosting and security
Your data is hosted in Canada. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), password hashing and strict access controls. No transmission method is 100% secure, but we apply industry-recognized safeguards.
5. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After an account is closed, some data may be retained for the period required to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then securely deleted.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information and obtain a copy.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Withdraw consent or file a complaint with a competent authority.

7. Cookies
Moneta uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as language). We do not use advertising cookies.
